Weekly Weigh-In

One of things that I will need to accept over the coming weeks is that I am not going to lose these 10 pounds as quickly as I lost all the weight back in 2011. First, and most importantly, I really did, by almost every standard, lose it at a ridiculous rate -- I lost 60 pounds in just under eight months. Second, since then I've made some dietary changes that resulted in a slightly higher regular caloric intake and make it slightly more difficult to cut my intake in a reasonable fashion (smaller portions are the rule, for now). So, while I don't have a set goal for lbs/week, taking off 0.5 this past week seems like a number to be happy with.

Gain/loss for the past week: -0.5 lbs.
Cumulative loss: 2.7
Lbs. away from goal: 7.3
