NYG vs. NE? Blech!

Great, a Super Bowl where I want both teams to lose.

I know...the Eastern Sports and Propaganda Network must be all wet and sticky. This is the Red Sox/Yankees world series they can't get cause they are in the same division.

I am nauseated already.

I don't know... I haven't watched ESPN regularly in years, but I don't see them going as bat-shit over this as they would have a Yankees-Red Sox ALCS. There really isn't any meaningful rivalry between the Giants and Patriots.

Yay Giants! They didn't choke. Except for Tynes. But I'm not getting my hopes up for the superbowl other than to hope it will at least not be embarrassing.

I have to admit to being surprised the Giants made it this far. Having said that, they've ruined my dream of the Patriots leading the Super Bowl by a ridiculous margin at halftime only to undergo a slow-motion nightmare and lose their perfect season in the final seconds of the game.

For your sake, I'm glad the Giants are there, but as an Eagles fan, I'm perturbed.

I hope the Patriots kill the Giants in the Super Bowl.

Can't say as I blame you. However, I'm getting sick of Boston fans getting so many championships, and it needs to stop.

Amen brother.

I guess if you put a gun to my head I'd root for the Giants -- eww, eww, EWWW -- because I don't like to see a sports-team dynasty outside my home town. And because Michael Strahan is cheeky, and I root for cheeky especially when its time is long past due.

Strahan is possibly the only reason I would root for the Giants to win. Unless the player is T.O., it's a shame when a player of his magnitude is unable to enjoy a championship.

I'm not sure how I feel. I don't hate the Giants, even though they're a division rival, and I want the Patriots to lose. But I hate the thought of having to play the defending Super Bowl champs twice next year, if the Giants win.

It wouldn't bother me seeing the Eagles having to play the Super Bowl champs twice. I truly think that the Giants got exceedingly lucky -- the Cowboys were a better team and the Eagles were arguably of similar caliber (they just didn't play up to it the whole season).

And the one I predicted...everyone I know kept underestimating the Giants...I knew they were no one to mess with and if anyone can beat us in the superbowl it's them.
