I've posted quite a bit this year (though certainly not recently) about my feelings about the direction of the country's economy. Right now, I'm incredibly thankful for having a job that is for the moment not impacted by the current downturn. I just hope that this remains the case and that all my friends, family and loved ones will be able to get through what I still believe will be an ugly, protracted recession.
