Typing Away

I'm actually hard at work on the entry I promised two weeks ago, and will certainly have it posted online before the end of the weekend. It's currently clocking in at 1,400 words, which already makes it the longest thing I've written since Some Fantastic went on hiatus a year ago. I'm hoping to make this some sort of springboard into getting back into writing on a regular basis, but we'll just have to see how that pans out. I still have a number of things in my life that require more attention and time than I feel like I can truly give, and I don't know how feasible it will be for me to set aside time for this sort of thing. Nonetheless, it's felt good to hammer away on this piece, and I'm bound and determined to get it finished this weekend, no matter what.


Edit to Add, 3:55 PM: Just finished my first finished draft (approximately 1,600 words). Will put is aside for another 24 hours or so and then come back to it for final revisions and edits.
