Weekly Weigh-In, Week #2

Gain/loss for the week: -2.7 lbs.
Cumulative loss: -6.0
Lbs. away from goal: 42.0

I actually did weigh-in yesterday but didn't get around to posting until right this minute. As shown by the loss for the week, I had no problem sticking to the diet and exercise routine I set for myself. Interestingly, midway through the week, TeenLitGirl and I had a brief conversation where she said I was making the effort look easy. No, it's not. If I didn't allow myself one day a week where I don't care about how many calories I consume or what type of food it is I'm eating, then I probably wouldn't survive on the diet. My logic has always been that one day of such behavior does not undo all the good work resulting from the other six days of following the plan, and it's never failed so far (my failures result from simultaneously derailing from diet and exercise for long, long periods of time). The first real test of my diet and exercise regimine will occur next week when I have a business trip to Texas, but more about that when the time comes.
