I actually did weigh-in last week, but just didn't post -- mostly because it was exactly at the same weight as the week before. This past weekend involved a lot of eating out and not being able to count calories with the precision I would like, so I'm pleased with the final number for the fortnight period (and I'm assuming that last week's weigh-in was a little off, on the high side). On the other hand, I've been rather doggedly sticking to my exercise and dietary regimen for eight weeks now, and while my weight has steadily dropped, it hasn't done so as quickly as I would like. My disappointment stems from the unrealistic expectation that I should be able to drop weight as easily as I did a couple years ago (as well as at other earlier periods of my life).
Upshot: I'm mentally filing all this away in the hopes that I don't allow myself to put on excess weight again.
