Well, there's still no smoking gun, but a report from the non-partisan General Accounting Office that's gotten no coverage whatsoever from the mainstream media gives plenty of credence to the notion that Ohio Republicans stole the election. Factor in the involvement of Tom Noe -- the Republican operative who has since been indicted on charges of illegally channeling $45,000 to the Bush campaign -- and the fact that Ohio Secretary of State -- who was in charge of coordinating polling locations and ensuring they ran smoothly -- was also the head of the Bush campaign in Ohio, then things really start smelling fouler than the Cuyahoga River before it caught fire in 1969.
First it was Florida in 2000; then it was Ohio in 2004. It's becoming more and more obvious that many in the Republican party do not actually believe in democracy.
