I'm a little surprised, given that I only made to the gym twice this past week. However, even though I didn't count calories for the first three days of the week, I didn't eat with reckless abandon either (a typical problem I have during the holiday season when traveling and visiting friends and family). I must have kept my caloric intake on those days not much higher than what I needed to maintain, and then took the weight off over the last part of the week.
Unfortunately, I forgot to bring everything I needed for my lunchtime workout today -- hopefully I can make up today's workout on Saturday or Sunday.
