I'm surprised by this result. I only made it to the gym three times this week and had three really calorie-laden days to boot. It makes me wonder if my goal of keeping my calories around 1700-1800/day (which I managed every other day during the week) is a little too strict. It is lower than any caloric target I had in previous weight-loss bouts, but I thought it was reasonable given the amount of time I could realistically set aside for the gym. I know that it is unhealthy to lose weight at a rate that's more than 2 lbs/week, and while I've been below that the last two weeks, I haven't stuck to my regimen very well during that time. If I did a good job of sticking to it over the next couple weeks, I could easily exceed that limit.
I know that it's not technically something I need to worry about at this time, but I should remain aware of it moving forward.
